The Howe Sound Curling Club was established in 1964 and relocated after a fire to Squamish Valley on Mamquam Road in 1984. The Club has four sheets of ice supported by a full Clubhouse, Restaurant and Lounge. The Club celebrates its 25th Anniversary the weekend of November 27th, 2010 with a Bonspiel and Dance.

The Curling program operates from October through March.

The Curling Season features: Lessons in October followed by League Play for all groups: Seniors, Women, Men, Mixed, Young Adults and Juniors with the traditional year end play downs in March.

In addition to league play, The Club hosts a Bonspiel in the Womens and Mixed categories.

The Club accomodates company and charity events on weekends throughout the Curling season.

The Howe Sound Curling Club is the only curling facility north of Vancouver in Sea to Sky Country.

Curling is suited to both beginners and experienced players and accommodates singles, couples or teams of four. A minimum of equipment is required: a broom and non-slip shoes or a slider.

Registration for the various Leagues and Programs takes place on September 8th and 15th at The Club from 7:00pm to 8:00pm. Registration outside of those dates can be done at the Golf Club.
